This post is part of the We are Pinnable Celebrating Fall Blog Hop. You may remember We Are Pinnable from my Guest Co-hosting time.
When asked to reflect on how I celebrate Fall I found myself also reflecting on how different celebrating Fall is in Southern California versus New York.
In Southern California, my yard has palm trees and there are no falling leaves.
Growing up in New York Fall always included the change of colors, the raking of leaves and the inevitable leaf throwing party.
Other things I remember from my childhood include the crisp air and taking out my favorite Fall outfits.
Here in Southern California none of that is part of Fall (well we may take out an extra sweater) but there is so much that is universal.
Just ask the ladies of the We are Pinnable Celebrating Fall Blog Hop. We cover various continents but all love to celebrate Fall.
Check out their awesomeness in these super cool posts.
Of course, one of the greatest things about Fall are the holidays. With all three of my kids currently living away from home, I am 100% looking forward to Thanksgiving.
Thanksgiving will be a time that I truly celebrate Fall as it will be the first time in many, many months that all three of my kids will be under the same roof.
In honor of my extreme future happiness, I want to gift you all with a cookbook that I worked on a few years back.
The cookbook is entitled The Best of Fall: A Five Course Harvest Feast. I worked on this with a colleague of mine. We are both certified nutritionists and thought that this would be a really fun project.
All recipes in this FREE cookbook are gluten free, dairy free, processed sugar-free, and free of artificial color and preservatives.
Each recipe would make a wonderful addition to any meal, whether for a plant-based eater or anyone that would simply like healthier choices available to them.
My co-author and I also provide information on the reason for choosing particular foods. As if all of the delicious recipes complete with preparation tips were not enough.
In this educational cookbook, you will learn about foods that help to prevent cancer, reduce cholesterol, and detoxify. For added fun, we include foods that may improve your sex life.
This cookbook is for you if you want to take the stress out of preparing a healthy holiday meal.
