The hardest and coolest popcorn roundup … starts now!
In my home, at this very moment, there is no less than 10 pounds of popcorn kernels. What am I to do with all of this?
For the answer I reached out to some of my blogging friends and I got so many great answers.
I popped all over reading the recipes and brought them them down to a handful.
Then I realized how many great recipes you all would be missing out on so I added a link up to the end of this post.
The recipes that I featured did not have added sugar, especially since any recipes that include candy canes already automatically add in about 5 grams of sugar per 5″ candy cane, no extra butter (although if you sub out the butter for coconut oil those recipes do become a bit healthier) and no corn syrup.
Candy Cane Popcorn enjoyed alongside Coffee With Us Three offers a sweet treat with Candy Cane and almond bark. It is super easy and super yummy. Dark Chocolate Almond Bark is my favored choice rather than milk chocolate.
3 Boys and A Dog provides a bit of spice with Frank’s Red Hot Buffalo Style Popcorn. It is reminiscent of my days in Buffalo, New York and a whole bunch healthier than fried Buffalo Chicken Wings dipped in Blue Cheese Dressing.
I will admit that I allowed Rock-A-Bye Parents Pumpkin Pie Popcorn sneak in even though it does have a bit of added sugar. There are two reasons that I did that. Number One it is so unique and delicious. Number Two you can simply skip the sugar and it is still delicious.
We wrap up this popcorn roundup with the Country Chic Cottage who provides an adorable popcorn gift jar.
If you scroll to the bottom of Angie’s post (use the link to click on over) you will find over 30 links for creative popcorn boxes as an added bonus.
Thanks so much for visiting.
