This was a most wonderful day from start to finish. I feel so lucky for my life and family.
Now that I am clear for more rigorous exercise I have revamped my old exercise schedule and put it back into play.
This always adds up to a lovely morning at the gym which now also includes a jacuzzi soak with the hubby.
To this loveliness we then decided to grab the kids and go out to the mall for some back to school shopping.
To this we added a wonderful lunch. Our friend treated us in celebration of said hubby’s birthday, making it even more special.
My favorite thing was that the whole family was together, relaxed and sharing our lives.
These things mean so much.
I look at my family and think how close we are to the time that they will graduate and move on to other things in other places.
That is a scary thought for me.
At this point, I would rather not worry about the future. Therefore, I just enjoy the present.
Did you notice that double entendre?
“Present” as in the here and now which is such an important thing to enjoy and “present” as in the gift of my family being wonderful to each other which is also such an important thing to enjoy.
Well as if all of this was not lucky enough, I got a call from a friend who was unexpectedly in town.
So out for the night I went for a lovely visit and to once again think how lucky I am.
How about you? What is something that you feel lucky about?
